Classic Danish Wiener-salad

One of the favourites for the summer lunch. Easy to make and a huge hit amongst kids.
6 Servings

  • 3-4 boiled hotdog sausages, sliced
  • 3-4 sweet pickled dild cumbers
  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • 3-4 boiled potatoes, diced
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Creme fraiche
  • 1 tbsp Grainy dijon mustard
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise ( I prefer Hellman’s light Mayonnaise ) or make you own.
  • Salt
  • Black pepper , freshly ground
  • Chives
1) Mix mayonnaise and creme fraiche in a bowl, add mustard to taste , and more mustard if you like.

2) Prepare the pre-boiled sausages, pickle dild cumbers, pre-boiled potatoes, onions, and add to the mayo mix, season with salt and freshly grounded black pepper

Serve on rye bread and top with fresh chives
