Classic Danish ham salad

Easter lunch is near and here are one of, my family traditions, we always have on the lunch table, Ham salad.
Also great in sandwiches for picnics - Hope you enjoy!
6-8 Servings

  • 1 lb Ham, (leftover or bough) Trimmed of fad and diced
  • ½ cup Onion, Chopped, and some sliced for garnish
  • 3 Stalks celery, Chopped
  • 3 tbsp Chives, Chopped,and some sliced for garnish
  • cup Hellman's Light mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

1) Chop ham in a food processor and transfer to a bowl.

Chop onion stalk celery in the food processor , and mix it with the chopped ham in the bowl.

Add Hellman’s Light Mayonnaise, ⅔ cup to 1 cup, depending how creamy / fat you want it.

Mix with chives , save a bit for decoration, add salt and black pepper for taste

Serve on rye bread , diced/sliced radish and sliced onions and of course a Snaps
Actually it up to you if you would like to have more chives , onion , stalk celery, this is just basic.
