Deluxe tuna salad open-faced sandwich

The classic open-faced tuna sandwich is without salmon roe. But I just love salmon roe, and it give it the last nice touch
4 Servings

  • 185 g Canned tuna, drain from water
  • 1 tbsp. Hellman's Light Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. Sour Cream
  • 2 ½ tsp. Salmon roe
  • 1 Small red onion, ½ finly diced other ½ finly sliced
  • 2 tsp. Capers
  • Black pepper, freshly grounded
  • Rye bread
  • Lamb's lettuce , (corn salad)
  • Butter

1) Drain Tuna from water, and mix together with mayo, sour cream, capers, diced onions and 2 tsp of the salmon roe.

Butter the rye bread and top with lamb’s lettuce and tuna mix.

Garnish: with ½ tsp. salmon roe, sliced onions, and grounded black pepper
