Meat patties with onions

One of the Danes favourite dishes and an everyday dish in may danish homes. Very easy to make serve with potatoes and gravy
4 servings
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 large onion, finely sliced
  • 50 g butter, divided
  • salt
  • black pepper, freshly grounded
1) Heat no-stick skillet over medium heat, melt half the butter, when melted add onions and cook until they turn soft. Set aside and keep warm

Divide meat in 4 equal parts and form patties, sprinkle with salt and pepper on both sides
3)
Heat the last butter in skillet and cook meat patties 5-8 minutes per side .

Notes:
Serve with build or roasted potatoes, and gravy of your choice
