Creamed cabbage

Absolutely the best creamed cabbage in the world and my go to recipe, when you just need that extra special dish. Serve with any kin of meat, poultry or fish.

  • 1 head of cabbage, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 250 grams Mascarpone cheese
  • 2 tbps butter
  • Salt and black pepper, for seasoning
  • nutmeg, for seasoning

1) Remove outer leaves , and chop/dice the cabbage in bite size bites.

Melt butter in big pot, add cabbage and let it simmer for 10 min, med or until soften

Add heavy cream and mascarpone, stir and let it simmer for 5 min, till slightly thickens

Add salt, pepper and nutmeg for seasoning , Serve with any kind of meat, poultry or fish
