Garlicky chicken wings

Great way to make the perfect chicken wings. I do not soak them in wing sauce, because it get to sticky , but I serve it with a varieties of sauces, so every person can choose their favourite sauce .

  • 3 kg chicken wings
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • barbecue sauce

1) In a large bowl, mix together flour, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, garlic salt. Toss chicken wings in flour mixture a few at a time. Shake off extra and place on baking sheet.

Refrigerate for 45 minutes, uncovered.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees ( 200ºC hot air oven ). Spray a posting pan with nonstick cooking spray or line with parchment paper for easy clean up. ( you might bake it in batches , keep finished warm under foil or on low heat in another oven )

Bake wings in preheated oven until no longer pink at the bone and juices run clear, about 15-18 minutes per side.

Remove chicken wings from oven and place wings in serving bowl. Serve with your favourite chicken wing sauce - we used barbecue sauce.
