Pan seared salmon steaks with ranch dressing

Great summer dish, light and fast to make , delicious crisp skin.
4 servings

  • 4 big salmon filets (steaks)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 25 g butter
  • 4 tbsp ranch dressing
  • salt
  • cooked rice
  • parsley, for garnish

1) Sprinkle lightly with salt both meat and skin side of the salmon.

Melt butter and oil in a medium hot pan. Sear the salmon meat side down for 1-2 minutes, flip to skin side and let it cook until the skin is crisp, you might just the heat up or down ( depending of your stovetop )

Serve over hot rice, drizzle with ranch dressing and garnish with parsley
