Perfect rump roast

Perfect Valentines dinner or sunday roast or if you having a fancy dinner, Serve with potatoes and green salad
8-10 servings
  • 2 lbs. rump roast
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • salt
  • black pepper, freshly grounded
1) Rump steak: With a knife, make a diamond patton on the fat on top, do not cut down to the meat.
Brown the butter till golden in a non-stick pan. Brown rump steak 3 min on each side. Transfere steak to a cooking pan and pour over the butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cook on 150℃ till the meat thermometer shows 60℃ in the center of the meat ( for medium / rosa meat )
When finish, take out of the oven and cover and let it rest for ½ hour
