Sweet and hot chicken thighs

Very tangy and mouthwatering dish. Very easy and fast to make, serve with green beans or mixed salad

  • 1 Kg Chicken thinghs, deboned
  • Flour mix
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp Paprika
  • ½ tbsp chili powder, (optional)
  • Sauce mix
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp dark sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp sambal oelek, heaped tbsp.
1) Pre-heat oven 200℃ , hot air oven
2) Debone chicken, dredge the chicken in the flower mix. Place in a ovenproof skillet, skin side down. Cook for 10-15 min, then turn and give it another 10-15 min ( depends on oven ).
3) Meanwhile whisk together in a bowl the sauce ingredients.
After the last 10 min. spoon over the sauce and give it another 2-5min, till the sugar start to bubble .. keep an close eye on it so it do not burn. Serve on a tray and spoon over the rest of the sauce from the skillet.
