Tortellini carbonara


Dinner tonight 12 June, 2017
This is absolutely my husband favourite dish, mild tast yet so creamy
4 servings

  • 500 g tortellini
  • ½ L. heavy cream
  • 2 egg yolk
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 250 g bacon, diced
  • basil, garnishing

1) Cook tortellini according to package, set aside and keep warm

In a pot , cook bacon until crisp , add heavy cream and cook for 20 min more ( maybe more ) on medium heat, until a very very thick , Be careful, it burn easily. Set aside

Add tortellini to the cream and bacon sauce and stir to cover all the tortellini .

Take pot of the heat and add egg yolks, stir (or serve with individual yolk per serving ) . Garnish with basil and parmesan cheese and serve
